Get Poked: Tattoos and Beer Poking

Tattoos, beer and Friday the 13th. What could possibly go wrong? Avant Garde Aleworks is teaming up with Space Coyote Tattoo to get you poked — with a flash tattoo or a caramelized beer, a German tradition that froths your brew by plunging a hot metal rod straight into the glass. Tattoos are first come, first serve, and designs will be available the day of the event.
Pi Day Pie Bakeoff

Celebrate the most delicious day of the year at Nederland Community Library. Whether you want to show off your baking skills or just taste some incredible pies, this community event will feature sweet and savory categories, along with youth and dietary restricted contests. Prizes will be awarded to 1st place finishers in each category.
Snow Shoe Hike

Put on your warm layers and hit the trail with Wild Bear Nature Center during this all-ages outdoor experience. Wild Bear will provide snow shoes for the excursion as the center's lead nature educator explains how wildlife adapts to winter conditions and the science behind snow. Price includes snow shoe rental.
Frozen Dead Guy Days
